  • What happens during a new patient’s visit?

First and foremost, we listen. During your first one-hour visit, we’ll review your medical and dental history and discuss your concerns, desires and expectations. You’ll receive a comprehensive exam that covers the four main areas of dental health for adults:

    • A tooth-by-tooth check for decay
    • An assessment of periodontal (gum) health
    • A jaw and bite examination
    • A cosmetic consultation

To aid in efficient diagnosis, we may take digital X-rays as well as photos with an intraoral camera. Dr. Orser will display these images on your chairside monitor to let you see what we are looking at. This is an important component of letting you become an equal partner in planning your treatment. After your exam, we’ll explain your treatment options and help you decide the next step to achieving a beautiful smile and lasting oral health. To schedule your new patient visit, please contact our dental office today.

  • Can I preview my smile before I begin treatment?

Yes! Dr. Orser is one of the few dentists in the area to offer the “Trial Smile”. This is an exclusive smile preview method that lets you literally try on your new smile before you begin treatment. Dr. Orser will create a mock-up of your teeth that you can wear. This way, you will be able to realistically envision the results of specific therapies before undergoing treatment. This innovation in cosmetic dentistry is a useful tool in helping you achieve the stunning smile that you deserve. For more information, please call our office.

  • I’m interested in dental implants. Do I have to see a specialist?

No. Dr. Orser is a skilled implant dentist who performs all aspects of the implant process at our office. The process includes: planning, placement and restoration. He will evaluate your candidacy for implants, surgically insert the posts in your jaw and then mount your custom replacement teeth. You won’t need to see a specialist or travel to multiple locations. Instead, you’ll receive quality care from a team that know you and understands your needs. To schedule a consultation to learn more about the life changing benefits of dental implants, please contact our Arlington Heights dental office today.

  • My lower denture slips when I speak, eat or laugh. It’s embarrassing. Can Dr. Orser help?

Absolutely. Lower dentures are notorious for slipping at the most inconvenient times. Using state-of-the-art dental implants, Dr. Orser can secure your lower dentures. An implant supported denture is held in place with fixtures that snap on to implants placed in the front of your lower jaw. Knowing your smile is secure, you’ll experience newfound freedom and confidence.

  • Does Dr. Orser use lasers?

Yes. We use a soft-tissue laser to non-invasively perform dental cleanings, treat gum disease, contour gum tissue, and more. Laser therapy is safe, fast and efficient. The pin-point accuracy of the laser lets Dr. Orser focus on a specific area without affecting surrounding tissue. Laser therapy is comfortable, too, and many patients don’t require anesthesia. Call if you have questions. We’ll be happy to provide any information you need.

  • What sets your practice apart from others?
